Jessica Latin, M.A., LPC-S, NCC, PMH-C, is a proficient and dynamic licensed professional counselor focusing on perinatal mental health. She earned her master's degree in Counseling and Guidance and a graduate certificate in Dynamics of Domestic and Family Violence from Louisiana Tech University in 2013. Jessica is licensed in Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas, and is the proud owner of JL Counseling, a private mental health practice based in Shreveport, Louisiana.

As a nationally certified counselor and an internationally certified specialist in perinatal mental health, Jessica brings expertise in maternal mental health, domestic violence, and self-esteem building to her practice. She offers clinical supervision for aspiring counselors in Louisiana and is appointed as a Gratis Clinical Instructor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at LSU Health Shreveport. 

Jessica is also a self-published author of a guided self-esteem journal, "Crowned in Confidence," available on Amazon. Additionally, she hosts a mental health podcast titled "The Counselor's Complex," accessible on YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, and various other podcast platforms.

Driven by her passion for education, Jessica actively contributes to expanding and improving the mental health field while working tirelessly to diminish stigma in the community.
