Jessica Latin, MA, LPC-S, NCC, PMH-C

Owner/Therapist

 

I'm not just a licensed professional counselor; I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Drawing from both personal experiences and professional training, I strive to guide my clients toward their best selves.

​

I offer various services including individual, group, teletherapy, couples, and family therapy. My expertise covers diverse topics, and I value the learning exchange with my clients, continually enriching my ability to assist others. I utilize therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Perinatal Interpersonal Therapy (P-IPT), and I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) through an EMDRIA approved training- EMDR in Color.

My educational background includes a bachelor's in Psychology and a master's in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. I hold licenses in Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas, providing clinical supervision in Louisiana. Additionally, I'm a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and have a graduate certificate in Dynamics of Domestic Family Violence. For over a decade, I've been advocating for domestic violence awareness and support local shelters.

Certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) by Postpartum Support International (PSI), I serve as a Louisiana State Ambassador for 2020 Mom, supporting mothers with maternal mental health issues. As a volunteer coordinator for Postpartum Support International, I aid families in North Louisiana. I am also the current PSI Louisiana board co-chair. Additional perinatal mental health trainings from Seleni Institute in NY. I am also a trained doula.

I serve as a Gratis Clinical Instructor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at LSU Health and Sciences Center in Shreveport.

Ashley W. Salone, MA, LPC

Therapist

I am elated to begin working with you to help you overcome your current challenges. I am a wife and a mother in addition to a being a therapist. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and growing my therapeutic skills. I am a graduate of East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, TX. I obtained my Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Substance Abuse. I have 12 years of mental health experience working with a variety of clients and issues including adolescents and adults in addiction services. I provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling as needed.
